The Campaign
Rent A Human partnered with TED to execute event staffing for the TED Conference in Atlanta, an engagement that has run across multiple years and spanned check-in, badge distribution, VIP support, gifting, and wayfinding across the conference's core venue at Pullman Yards. The October 2024 conference ran across six consecutive days, from October 19 through October 24, with Rent A Human fielding dedicated crews for check-in and registration, gifting stations, refuel areas, and event support positions spread across Pullman Yards and nearby Atlanta venues connected to the conference's broader city footprint. Staff worked in small, role-specific teams, from single-person gifting and check-in posts to four-person refuel crews, giving TED granular coverage across every touchpoint of the attendee journey rather than a single generalized staffing block. Rent A Human returned for the TED Conference again in November 2025, this time based out of the Signia by Hilton in Atlanta, staffing another six-day run from November 6 through November 11. That engagement expanded the role mix further, adding accreditation crews, coat check, exhibits support for the event's lounge areas, and a dedicated hub information desk, on top of the check-in, gifting, and refuel positions carried over from the prior year. Across both years, Rent A Human's approach centered on precise, role-based staffing rather than a single undifferentiated crew, deploying eight or more distinct position types across the two conferences and holding VIP arrival support and attendee flow management steady throughout each multi-day run. The recurring relationship reflects a staffing model built to scale from one badge-check post to dozens of coordinated positions across a sprawling, multi-venue conference footprint.
